This pivotal role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and strategic use of data within our Management Information System (Bromcom), supports timetabling (EdVal), and provides crucial reports for leadership and external stakeholders, including the Department for Education.

This key role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and analysis of data within our MIS (Bromcom), supports timetabling (EdVal), and provides essential reports for school leadership and external stakeholders. You will also oversee GDPR compliance, manage pupil and staff timetables, and coordinate teaching staff cover.

de Stafford is an 11-16 comprehensive school located in Caterham, Surrey which joined GLF Schools MAT in December 2016. The school has a PAN of 180 students per year group. The school serves predominantly the local Caterham community with the majority of students residing within the CR3 catchment area.

What we are looking for
- Experience in School Data Management – Proficiency in Bromcom (or similar MIS) and EdVal timetabling is highly desirable.
- Strong Analytical & Organisational Skills – Ability to manage, interpret, and report on school data to support decision-making.
- Attention to Detail & Data Integrity – Ensuring accuracy in pupil records, reporting, and compliance with GDPR regulations.
- Timetabling & Curriculum Support – Managing pupil/staff timetables, curriculum changes, and overseeing admissions data.
- Statutory Reporting & Compliance – Experience with DfE census returns, local authority data returns, and statutory reporting.
- Cover Management – Coordinating daily and long-term staff cover arrangements and liaising with supply agencies.
- Effective Communication Skills – Confidently working with leadership, teaching staff, and external stakeholders.
- Proactive & Solution-Focused Approach – Able to work independently and collaboratively to improve data systems.

The Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: GLF Associate - Specialist | Point 1-16 (£26,272-£28,894) - DOE
Actual Salary: £21,973 to £24,166 (dependent on experience)
Hours of work: 0700 – 1430 Monday to Friday (term time only)
