Your Opportunity
Windmill Primary School is a small, welcoming community where every child is truly known and valued, and where individuality is celebrated. Our nurturing environment, high‑quality teaching and rich curriculum create the foundations for children to enjoy learning and thrive.
We are seeking a proven school leader with strong moral purpose and a commitment to high‑quality education for every child. For this role, we are particularly interested in applications from:

You will sustain our strong ethos, ensuring all pupils — including those with SEND and diverse learning needs — continue to receive excellent support and achieve highly. Ofsted has highlighted the school’s effective provision for disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND, and you will play a key role in building on this success.
As part of GLF Schools, a trust of 43 schools across multiple regions, Windmill benefits from a network of specialist teams in inclusion, curriculum and school improvement. You will join a collaborative MAT with exceptional professional development, strong peer networks and support from dedicated central teams across Education, People, IT, Estates and Governance.
At GLF Schools, we strive to create an inclusive environment for both staff and children. We particularly welcome applicants from under‑represented groups, including those based on race, sex, gender reassignment, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion/belief.

- Inspiring role models who lead by example and embed a positive, inclusive school culture
- Ambitious for all children, with a deep belief in equity, excellence and high expectations
- Committed to belonging, helping to shape a school where everyone feels valued and confident to contribute
