We are seeking to appoint a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Support Mentor to build meaningful and positive relationships with students, supporting them to access learning, regulate emotions and navigate the challenges of secondary school life.
Your opportunity
Highdown School and Sixth Form are looking for a Behaviour Support Mentor who is seeking an exciting new opportunity to join our highly skilled team and play a key role in shaping our students’ academic journey. You will be a calm and reliable presence around the school, helping to create a welcoming, safe and structured environment for all students. The role involves supporting key students in lessons, providing guidance during unstructured social times, assisting with the Behaviour Hub (Bridge) where needed, and working closely with our pastoral, SEN and safeguarding teams.
What we are looking for
You should be a highly motivated and successful individual who is willing to contribute to all aspects of the school vision. Experience of working with young people in schools, youth work, mentoring or similar environments would be desirable.

The Details
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: GLF Associate 3, FTE range £25,469 - £26,115 (actual £21,910 - £22,466)
Working pattern: Full time (36 hours per week), Term time only
