Your Opportunity
GLF Schools is seeking a Senior Field IT Technician to provide IT support across a number of schools in the Banstead and Epsom area.
As part of our wider IT team, you will work closely with experienced colleagues based across Surrey and Oxfordshire, building strong relationships with both the Central IT Team and Regional IT Partners. The role involves delivering first and second-line support to a diverse range of users, troubleshooting issues across a variety of systems, and ensuring schools receive a high-quality IT service.
This is a field-based position, requiring regular scheduled visits to schools within your allocated region, alongside ad hoc and emergency support as needed. You may also be required to occasionally travel to other GLF Schools locations outside the region to support wider operational needs.
This is an exciting role with a varied work stream, and we require an intelligent and enthusiastic person who can think outside the box to solve issues independently, but who can also work effectively with our wider IT and school teams. Ideally, we would like the candidate to have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role and has experience with hardware and software, including installation, configuration and deployment.
Please note: The successful candidate will need to travel between schools; therefore, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. Business mileage will be reimbursed in line with the organisations mileage policy.
