About Manor Primary School
We are a vibrant and aspirational primary school serving the town of Didcot and the surrounding area. We were the first Primary school in Didcot, built in 1896 and we are proud of our history and connection to our town. Our new nursery opened in 2025 and we are delighted to be able to offer nursery places from ages 2 - 4 years.
We pride ourselves on our high expectations for pupils and this is reflected across all areas of our ambitious and rigorous curriculum, which we have designed and tailored for our school community. We are committed to ensuring that Manor Primary School pupils have a range of academic and pastoral opportunities to support their broader development throughout their time at Manor Primary and have recently been awarded a Gold Award for our social, moral, spiritual and cultural (SMSC) provision.
In the recent Ofsted inspection, inspectors noted how the school motto ‘aspire and contribute’, is “woven through the curriculum and school life.” “Staff have high expectations of pupils’ behaviour” the report states. It is pleasing that inspectors recognised the “carefully designed broad and balanced curriculum”. (Ofsted, 2023)
