Admissions Assistant to support the Admissions Office in processing enquiries and applications to
St George’s British International School (both campuses).

Duties and Responsibilities
Core Admissions Support
■ Act as a point of contact for prospective families, responding promptly and professionally to admissions enquiries by telephone, email and in person.
■ Support the day-to-day administration of the admissions process, ensuring that enquiries and applications are handled efficiently and courteously.
■ Coordinate entrance assessments for prospective pupils, including CAT4 and English language assessments, and ensure all relevant documentation is prepared and shared in advance.
■ Welcome prospective families and visitors to the school, assisting with visits and providing school tours as required.
■ Update and maintain applicant records on OpenApply, ensuring all information is accurate, complete and up to date.
■ Support communications with families throughout the admissions journey, including the sharing of application outcomes and next steps, under the guidance of the Admissions Officer and Head of MCA.
■ Monitor and track the payment of registration fees, liaising with families and internal colleagues as needed.
Administrative and Liaison Responsibilities
■ Arrange meetings and interviews for prospective pupils and families with members of the Admissions Committee, as required.
■ Liaise with the Infirmary and other relevant departments to ensure that key information relating to new pupils is collected and shared appropriately.
■ Prepare, organise and distribute admissions documentation for new families, including welcome materials, forms and key joining information.
■ Maintain adequate stocks of admissions materials, such as prospectuses and brochures etc.
■ Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Admissions Office.
Events and School Support
■ Assist in the planning and delivery of admissions events, including Open Events, information sessions and tours, assessment days and New Georgian’s Day.
■ Support the preparation of admissions spaces and materials to ensure a welcoming and professional experience for visitors.

■ Fluent spoken and written English, excellent writing skills.

■ Previous experience in an admissions, administrative, customer service or school-based role.
■ Familiarity with OpenApply or other admissions/CRM platforms.
■ Knowledge of the independent or international school sector.
■ Spoken Italian.

Conditional Offer of Appointment
Any offer to a successful candidate will be conditional upon the following:

or most recent Principal, Head of School or line manager)
■ Verification of medical fitness (completion of a medical declaration)
■ Social media screening
Non-EU applicants will be required to produce their university transcript with courses taken
and final grade of their first Degree.
