Learning Support Assistant

Term time only, 37.5 hours per week

Salary Pay Band 3B (£28,270 FTE)

Required from September 2026

 Actual salary will be calculated on hours worked and pro rata calculations.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team supporting students with SEND, particularly in literacy and numeracy.

You will deliver 1:1 and small group interventions, provide in-class support, and help students develop key skills including, but not limited to, reading, writing, numeracy and study skills. You will also track progress, contribute to provision planning, and act as a key worker, liaising with staff and parents.

 The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be organised and adaptable, and be committed to supporting young people to succeed. Experience in education or SEND is desirable, along with confidence using ICT.
