About The Role
We are seeking an inspirational and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our passionate and dedicated Science department from September 2026. You will need to be able to teach Biology and Chemistry up to KS4 and one of those subjects to KS5. Hours: Full Time or Part Time considered
Salary/Scale: from sp pt 5 £34,068 (ECT) to sp pt 17 £53,781 (PL2) pro rata
Starting salary for new joiners will be on the GDST teacher pay scale and will depend on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and a strong professional development programme.
Role Purpose
As a teacher of Science you will be working with groups from years 7 to 13 but should have the ability to teach both Biology and Chemistry up to KS4. The successful candidate will also be expected to teach all sciences at KS3. This will include monitoring students’ progress, the provision of regular feedback, and the refining of approaches in response to student progression where appropriate.
