We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic After School Playworker to join the team at Cuddington Croft Primary School on a part time, permanent basis. This rewarding role involves supporting our after school provision. If you’re passionate about working with children and creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Your opportunity 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a rewarding, part-time, term-time only role. We are seeking an adaptable and resourceful individual to help create a fun and caring environment within our school wraparound provision. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with children and be somebody who will engage and inspire the children through extra-curricular activities and learning.

What we are looking for 

  • Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
  • Have an interest in the play needs of children
  • Be able to participate in a variety of activities including arts and crafts, cooking, and other indoor and outdoor games.
  • Be proactive, using their own initiative to differentiate activities to ensure full inclusion for all abilities and ages.
  • Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour and circumstances
  • Be enthusiastic and motivated and committed to working as part of a team

About Cuddington Croft

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Cuddington Croft, our cluster includes the following other schools; The Vale Primary School, Banstead Infant School, Warren Mead Infant and Junior Schools, Danetree Primary School and Floreat Wandsworth Primary School.

Actual Salary: £3,304.18

Hours: 6hrs a weekMonday – Wednesday 3pm - 5pm (38 weeks per year)
