Your Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader with a proven track record in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to join our curriculum and pedagogy cluster team on a part time basis for 3 days a week. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic development of the Trust’s education strategy and aims.

As a Cluster EYFS Lead, you will:

  • Implement an ambitious, high-quality, evidence-based curriculum for all children in EYFS across a cluster of schools.
  • Embed Trust-wide pedagogical approaches and support school leaders to raise standards and improve outcomes for our youngest learners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure schools are equipped and trained in the new curriculum and supporting pedagogies.
  • Focus on improving outcomes for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those who are disadvantaged.
  • You will have the chance to influence practice across multiple schools, coach and develop leaders, and contribute to a culture of excellence in early years education.

The role will be across a cluster of schools primarily in the Caterham, Redhill, Crawley and Horsham area (Surrey and West Sussex) and will involve regular travel between schools within your cluster. There will also be a requirement from time to time to travel to our Head Offices in Banstead and Earlsfield, as well as other GLF Schools where needed.

Apply now to join a forward-thinking Trust and make a real difference in early years education across our schools.

  • Skilled in coaching and professional development, able to inspire and empower others.
  • Knowledgeable about SEND and inclusive practices, with a commitment to improving outcomes for all children.
  • Flexible and adaptive, ready to travel across a cluster of schools and work collaboratively within a dynamic team.

Join the GLF Schools Community

As a part of GLF Schools, you will join a community of staff dedicated to transforming education. With regular progression discussions, there will be a wealth of opportunities for you to grow your career, whether in one of our 43 academies or in our central team.
