Floreat Wandsworth are looking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and creative Level 6 Nursery Practitioner for our developing and expanding Nursery.  

Your opportunity

You will be responsible for the development and daily management of the Nursery providing a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment for children aged 2 – 5 years. You will take the lead in ensuring the academic and emotional development and attainment of of our youngest children in school.

The successful candidate will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the challenges of day-to-day school life and will be committed to supporting children to achieve the very best they can through an engaging and creative curriculum.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will be:

  • a Qualified Teacher / Early Years Professional Status / Early Years Teacher Status or other suitable Level 6 Qualified practitioner
  • in possession of GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
  • up to date with training and knowledge of Safeguarding
  • able to establish and communicate clear standards and expectations
  • committed to high standards of teaching and learning
  • a positive, can do attitude
  • trustworthy and approachable
  • passionate about the children's learning, progression and welfare.

The Details

Start Date: 2nd September 2024

Salary: GLF Specialist Scale Point 7-16, £26,380 - £28,604 

Actual Salary: from £23,640 - £25,633

Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm, 37.5 hours a week, 39 weeks per year.
