We are delighted to have the opportunity to recruit internally for the role of Head of People Partnering, to lead and develop our People Partner team.  This is an exciting opportunity to take a senior leadership role within our People Function, providing strategic and operational leadership across employee relations, organisational change and workforce matters.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will lead the People Partnering service and provide expert advice and oversight on complex and high-risk employee relations matters, organisational change and TUPE. You will also lead on trade union engagement, contribute to People strategy and policy development, and support the delivery of People Management training across the Trust.

You will play a key role in shaping our People and Culture priorities and leading strategic projects across GLF.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a Chartered CIPD member with significant senior HR experience
• Have substantial experience in a complex, multi-site environment, ideally within a Multi Academy Trust
• Have strong experience managing complex employee relations and organisational change, including TUPE
• Have experience of leading and developing a team
• Be commercially and strategically minded, with excellent influencing, negotiation and communication skills
• Be solution-focused, pragmatic and resilient when managing complex people matters
• Be committed to developing yourself and others and to delivering positive outcomes for our schools and children.

Salary: Leadership 2 £65,000 FTE

Hours: 36 hours a week, 52 weeks a year
