We have an excellent opportunity for an IT professional to join our thriving IT Team at GLF Schools.

Your Opportunity

We are looking to recruit an IT Technician to help support our schools in the Epsom / Ewell area. The successful candidate will benefit from the support of our experienced IT teams located throughout Surrey and Oxfordshire and will build links with the Trust IT team and the Service Delivery Manager and Head of Operations.

The candidate will provide first- and second-line support, working with a range of systems and users with varying skills, and will need to find solutions to issues affecting all aspects of IT. The candidate will assist in ensuring that IT services deliver benefits to teaching and learning. This role is based at Rosebery School with scheduled visits to Danetree School; on occasion, the candidate may be required to visit other GLF schools in the Epsom & Ewell region. The candidate will also be required to attend IT team training events held at the GLF Trust offices (Earlsfield, Banstead) at scheduled dates.

A full UK driving license is beneficial, but not a requirement if the candidate can demonstrate that they have the means to meet the travel requirements for the role.

What we are looking for

This is an exciting role with a varied work stream, and we require an intelligent and enthusiastic person who can think creatively to solve issues independently, but who can also work effectively with our wider IT and school teams. Ideally, we would like the candidate to have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role and have experience with hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and deployment. Other experience that would be beneficial to the role:

  • Working in an educational environment
  • Communicating with stakeholders
  • Understanding of ITIL, service and project delivery

The Details

Salary: Associate 3 £25,001 FTE

Hours: 36 hours a week, 52 weeks a year (8am-4pm)

Start Date: ASAP
