Nursery Assistant Level  3

Merstham Primary, a village community school, has an exciting new opportunity for a Nursery Assistant at level 3 or above.

Your opportunity

An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen at this small village school to work within our friendly and supportive nursery team with our youngest pupils aged three years and upwards.

We are looking to appoint a committed and caring Nursery Assistant to play a key role in supporting the Nursery Lead.  You will play a central role in the children’s development and also their welfare.

About Merstham Primary

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Merstham Primary, our cluster includes the following other schools; Southgate Primary School, Forge Wood Primary School, Kilnwood Vale Primary School, Greenway Junior School, Salfords Primary School, Lime Tree Primary School.

  • Be able to develop an understanding of the educational, welfare and social needs of the child with whom you are supporting.
  • Have experience of working in a nursery setting.

The Details

Salary: FTE £22,982 -£26,532

Pro Rata: £17,849 -£20,606 

Hours of work: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8.30 -3.00pm )
