Hammond School are looking to appoint an experienced part time office assistant to work within a busy and vibrant school office. You will be providing welcoming and friendly front of house cover and administrative support for the staff. An important part of the role is providing welfare support for our children.
We are looking for someone who has a warm, caring, and professional manner, as you will be dealing face to face with parents, carers and pupils on a daily basis. It is important the successful candidate can multitask, and have the ability to focus on tasks at hand, in a busy office environment.
This varied role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to learn all aspects within the department, developing their knowledge and skills. They should be confident with the use of various computer applications.

What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working within a busy and varied office environment
- Is able to remain calm and focussed under pressure
- Is competent with IT, including Word, Excel and email
- Has experience of school-based programmes including BromCom and Parentmail or has a willingness and aptitude to learn
- Is a confident and clear communicator
- Is a great team player with a positive outlook
About Hammond Junior School
Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with , our cluster includes the following other schools; Springfield Primary School, Hammond Junior School, Lightwater Village School, Cordwalles Junior School, Pine Ridge Infant School, Lorraine Infant School .

The Details
Salary: GLF Associate 2 £22,834 FTE (£13,641 actual)
Hours of work: Part Time; term time only plus inset days (39 weeks). 25 hours per week to be spread over Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
