Your Opportunity
GLF schools are looking to recruit a Senior IT Technician to work across our schools in the Caterham, Merstham and Croydon areas.
The successful candidate will benefit from the support of our experienced IT teams located throughout Surrey and will build links with the Central IT team and the Regional IT Partners.
The role will provide first and second line support in the field, working with a range of systems and users with varying skills and will need to find solutions to issues affecting all aspects of IT. This is a field role comprising of regular scheduled visits, ad hoc and emergency visits as required to our current and future schools within the allocated region.
This is an exciting role with a varied work stream, and we require an intelligent and enthusiastic person who can think outside the box to solve issues independently, but who can also work effectively with our wider IT and school teams. Ideally, we would like the candidate to have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role and has experience with hardware and software, including installation, configuration and deployment.
Please note: The successful candidate will need to travel between schools; therefore, a driving licence is essential.

The Details
Pay Range: Specialist Point 16 - £30,791 FTE
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 36hrs a week (52 weeks a year)
Location: A GLF School within the Caterham, Merstham or Croydon area.
Closing Date: Wednesday 22nd April at 9.30am
