Are you an experienced teacher or talented ECT looking to join an exceptional department, working with remarkable students, in an established and Ofsted Outstanding school?

Your Opportunity

We are looking to appoint a high-performing Science teacher who can inspire students, across Key Stages 3 and 4 and ideally (but not essential) through to A level. You will join a team of professionals, committed to fostering a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and academic achievement.

The Science team at Rosebery comprises 17 dedicated teaching colleagues and 3 highly skilled Technicians who are proud of its long‑standing reputation for excellence and collaboration. The team delivers both Combined and Triple Science at GCSE, ensuring a rich and ambitious curriculum for all learners. Outcomes at GCSE are outstanding, reflecting the high standards, strong subject expertise, and commitment to student success that define the team. In 2025, over three‑quarters of students achieved grades 7–9 in Science (Chemistry 81%, Biology 76% and Physics 73%) and at KS5, Science continues to thrive, with one in three students choosing to study a Science A level subject.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to join a highly successful department and make a meaningful contribution to students' academic growth and personal development.

What we are looking for:

  • Someone who will deliver joyful and challenging Science lessons to students of all abilities across KS3 and KS4 and ideally at KS5.
  • An excellent practitioner, who is confident, compassionate and dedicated to making a remarkable impact on both students and colleagues.
  • A role model for outstanding teaching, committed to continually improving the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
  • An individual who can motivate students and colleagues alike, with a proven track record of securing excellent student progress.
  • A genuine passion for student welfare.
