  • An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic class based staff team at Salfords Primary School. We have recently secured a Good rating with Ofsted, which Includes 2 areas of Outstanding.

We are looking for a new HLTA/Cover Supervisor member to enable us to support growth and learning. At Salfords, we pride ourselves on the commitment and dedication of the entire staff body and we proudly promote our passion and desire to assist in the educational development and enhancement of each and every child within our school. About Glf Clusters.

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Salfords Primary School, our cluster includes the following other schools; Southgate Primary School, Forge Wood Primary School, Kilnwood Vale Primary School, Greenway Junior School, Lime Tree Primary School and Merstham Primary School .

  • To ensure effective teaching following the teacher’s planning so children learn as effectively as possible.
  • Clarifying and explaining instructions.
  • Ensuring the resources support the learning and the children are able to use equipment and materials provided.
  • Motivating and encouraging the children as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with learning tasks as appropriate to children’s needs.
  • Be interested in a career within the school setting and working with children.
  • Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour.
  • Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team.
  • Be a confident and clear communicator.
  • Be committed to their development and learning.

The Details

Full time, Monday - Friday, 35hrs per week, 39 weeks per year (Term time) 

Salary: FTE: £24,982 -£33,592 Pro Rata £20,894 - £28,096
