We are looking for an ambitious Level 6 or equivalent qualified nursery professional to join our friendly growing team from September 2020.

We have a thriving new community on Great Western Park in Didcot, we have a strong focus on STEAM and our school Values underpin the curriculum. Our nursery has children ranging in age from 2-4 and is self-contained, but remains at the heart of our Primary School.

 

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Be responsible for the development and daily management of the Nursery providing a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment for children 2 – 4 years of age.
  • Build links and work in partnership with parents, carers and professionals to promote the well - being of the children.  
  • Develop and implement Early Years Foundation Stage with support from the Early Years Lead and Nursery Staff.  
  • Develop, implement and review the policies, procedures and practices within the Nursery, including all relevant legislation  
  • Promote high standards of behaviour and a good working ethos.  
  • Develop effective working relationships within the school.  
  • Contribute to the well being of children according to our policy.  
  • Participate in our cycle of professional development

Salary - GLF Unqualified Teachers Scale £17,682 - £27,965pa

Membership of the Teacher Pension scheme   

Permanent Contract, Term Time only , Opportunity to gain QTS through GLF’s Teaching School supported by experienced Teacher Training Mentors 

Start Date - 1st September 2020
